OWH Midweek Throwdown Tic Tac Toe

It's unusual for me to be able to participate in OWH's Midweek Throwdown.  I am home for the afternoon due to the big snow storm we were expecting which never really materialized.  Nevertheless, I appreciate the time to craft this afternoon.

This week's Midweek Throwdown is to choose three elements from the Tic Tac Toe grid and use them in our card.  For my card, I used embossing, blue and oval shape elements.  The stamp is from TJ Designs' "A Walk Through Wonderland" Rubber Stamp Collection.  Thank you for visiting.

Midweek Throwdown Cards 4 Kids

Operation Write Home's Midweek Throwdown this week is Cards 4 Kids.  The challenge is to make cards for children for our heroes to send home to their family and friends.

I decided to pull out my Disney Cricut cartridge and make a few Mickey cards.  Doesn't all kids like Mickey?  The striped paper is from CTMH's Giggles and Grins paper set.

I finally got a moment to sit down and be creative.  The stamp is from the Inky Antics' Balloon Buddies clear stamp set.  I used Copics to color the image.  I definitely could use some more practice on the coloring.

I missed the last sketch challenge but I am back on track now.  I went with the St. Patrick's Day theme for this challenge.  The pattern paper is by Reminisce (2-sided paper, Shenanignas and ShamRock!)  Instead of the circle in the middle, I replaced with a shamrock.  I gave little dimension by using pop dots for the shamrock.  Off to making few more before the January 31 St. Patrick's Day deadline.
